The show was a superb success among the audience and Adrienne did a very special encore performance for everybody. A special guests of Adrienne's Haan were her parents that flew from South Africa to see Adrienne perform and celebrate Adrienne's father's birthday.
Adrienne Haan is an actress and cabaret artist who specializes in music of the 1920s and 30s. Since 2007, she has performed in cabarets and on concert stages in the United States, Europe, Israel and Australia where is known for historically accurate renditions of songs in English, Germany, Hebrew, Yiddish and French. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and as soloist with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Cologne Philharmonic, the Northwest German Philharmonic, the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, Jacques Offenbach Orchestra Cologne, the WDR Big Band Cologne Concept Big band with Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks Orchestra, WDR Radio Choir, the Deutz Choir and the German Television. Her theater and musical productions include lead roles in Les Misérables, Evita, Cats, Cabaret, Sunset Boulevard, King Henry VI, and Richard III.Her cabaret show, The Streets of Berlin, is based on Berlin, mon amour, her most recent CD which was released in both German and English in 2010. Both the show and the recording include works by Mischa Spoliansky, Kurt Weill, and Bertolt Brecht arranged for voice, big band and string quartet by Heinz Walter Florin. Her earlier CDs include music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Claude-Michel Schoenberg among others. In Europe, she has appeared on the "Westdeutscher Rundfunk" Television Channel. In New York City Haan serves on the International Advisory Board of the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts
It was such a delight for PopImpressKA Journal www.popimpresskajournal.org to interact with Adrienne and her band back stage and be able to meet acclaimed French artist/painter Philippe Valy and view his paintings before and after the show. Philippe also interacted with Adrienne Haan on stage.
He has sold paintings to Bill Clinton, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and more. Philippe Valy, known worldwide and recognized as an artist of caliber throughout major organizations and dignitary circles, is officially represented by CATM NEW YORK.
People recognize Philippe Valy as a very creative and imaginative artist and design. Throughout his life he has created so much unique and unusual art all over the world , and each piece has always attracted the attention of both spectator and the media.

Haan’s latest show, a Robert R. Blume production, takes French chansons by Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour, and adds an all new modern interpretation with a five-piece rock band. Combining monologues and anecdotes that have made history with insights of her own, the show is entertaining, fun, modern and intellectually authentic.

The event aslo featured works of acclaimed French artist Philippe Valy in the club. Valy has transcribed masterworks that have embodied his own unique flare for the risqué with Peter Maxian pop. Former President Bill Clinton and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands are two of his many collectors.
