Live Vicariously Through PopImpressKA’s Captivating New York City Taxi Photo Shoot.
PopImpressKA Journal’s photo shoot featuring cover model Brianne Helfrich was a spectacle at the buzzing New York City Times Square on Tuesday August 25, 2015, in preparation for a major campaign during New York Fashion Week 2015.
Just back from a trip to the Dominican Republic where she helped build houses for families in need, revealing her inner and outer beauty, Brianne came to New York for this photo shoot. The major prop was a yellow cab with an advertisement showing Brianne modeling the exceptionally beautiful and elegant PopImpressKA Brand designs. During New York Fashion Week, 55 yellow cabs will drive around New York City with this advertisement providing the right amount of exposure for model, dancer and humanitarian Brianne Helfrich as well as for PopImpressKA Brand, Journal and Art.
PopImpressKA Brand fashions are unique in style and coloring using artist Olga Papkovitch’s copyrighted paintings as the accent for each piece of her designer apparel. No piece is alike and the line is currently available on custom order only via the PopImpressKA website www.popimpresskajournal.org
The first stop of the photo shoot was at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue. From there it was off to Times Square where the excitement climaxed. Passers-by as well as staff of surrounding hotels and even a super nice New York City Traffic Police Officer joined the fun and helped to keep the crowds surrounding us in check. So we want to take the opportunity here to thank the nice hotel staff of the Double Tree Suites by Hilton Hotel and NYC Traffic Police Officer Eddie for making this a complete success. We certainly stopped the traffic -you will understand why when you look at the photos in this blog- but thanks to Police Officer Eddie everything went smoothly and nothing got out of control. He even lent us his hat and vest for one of the photos. Although that was not planned, it provided a great additional prop and novelty shot.

New Yorkers and tourists walking by stopped to take photos of the PopImpressKA shoot on their phones and needless to say, to stare at the beautiful model sitting on top of a New York City yellow cab. Even a handsome photographer of the New York Daily News stopped to see what the excitement was about and to take a photo of the event and us. So we also took a photo of him and made him part of the PopImpressKA photo shoot. You can never have enough good-looking people in a shoot. ;))))
