EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:
- PJ: When you were growing up what is the biggest lesson your parents taught you? NC: The lessons my parents taught me were so many, I find it difficult to point out the most important. But in general, the pure essence of doing things from the heart with a positive purpose, honesty, loyalty, commitment and compassion to say the least, are some of the lessons my amazingly supportive parents taught me.

- PJ: How were you inspired to become a dancer? NC: I began stage work at age 3 and a half. From tap, classical ballet, jazz, mexican folklore... ballet was my number one off and on performing art for over 20 years of my life. The inspiration behind any type of art is unexplainable. Dancing is a language of body expression. Some things in art are as unexplainable as some things in life. They can so painful or so beautiful, no physical human words can describe.

- PJ: If you would dance in any ballet what ballet and what part would you choose? NC: If I was to dance a part in a ballet, I don't know what part I would choose, because I no longer dance. I just walk the runway on ballet pointes.

- PJ: Who is your favorite premier dancer? NC: My favorite premier dancer is Michael Jackson. No dancer of any type of dance has delivered the intense electrifying energy that transports you to such world of emotions through voice, lyrics, music, and dancing. A power like no other. That's why he is a legend and no one has beat that standard.

PJ: How were you able to become an entertainment lawyer? NC: I am not a lawyer, but I have worked in the legal field for many years as I went to school for my Associate's degree in ABA-approved Paralegal Studies. Almost at the start of my profession in the legal field, I met a lovely lawyer in entertainment law at a mixer. She saw my drive and determination in entertainment, so she invited me to the meetings and social gatherings of the San Diego Entertainment & Sports Lawyers. I was the only non-lawyer and non-law-student. For many years I became part of the meetings and the chair person's allowed me to create the subcommittee of Fashion since my experience in Fashion grew. Today, I use my knowledge and experience to educate aspiring models and up and coming artists in the business of entertainment and fashion without giving legal advice.

- PJ: You were able to work and make a change in the artist industry could you please tell us about it? NC: I was able to work in the industry of entertainment after so much emotional and financial burden along with so much I learned through disappointment in people and business. I was scammed a few times, used many and betrayed many more. I trusted too much the wrong people. I've come across adversity and a few detours I needed to take form my original business and artistic plan. But I didn't give up. I kept my faith, my focus and it inspired me to teach, guide and help aspiring artists to not fall into many bad experiences I fell into. Everyone should learn from the burn, but so many things can be prevented when there is legitimate guidance. As to making changes in the industry, Ballet Catwalk brings a different and avante garde way to sell a design on the runway.

- What are you working on now? NC: At the moment I am working on several projects. Presenting my internationally known registered trademark of Ballet Catwalk concept in Las Vegas. In promotion of my type of modeling & personal development training, I am building educational and inspirational awareness through "Nayeliart Reality Theories." I speak about misconceived matters and fallacies in the true world of fashion and entertainment. At the same time, "Nayeliart- Modeling & Personal Development Training," continues to build strong caliber of up and coming professional models.

- PJ: Your favorite film, book, TV program, time of the year, holiday? NC: I have many equally favorite films. SLC Punk, Grand Budapest Hotel, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Casino, Mayor Payne, Meet the Fockers, Casablanca, The 13th Floor, Inception, among many others... I don't watch TV, but the sitcom, Will & Grace made an exception for such great laughs and humor. A few traditional Warner Bros. cartoons are great too. Books, I read the bible and many of different authors and titles within Philosophy and Psychology aside from The Woman Warrior, Emotional Intelligence, Catcher in the Rye, Voices of Wisdom, Logic, Feng Shui for the Soul, The Art of Logic, Fear and some National Geographic editions. Once in a while, I will browse through a high fashion magazine for fashion inspiration, but not too much spiritual fulfillment. My favorite holiday is Christmas and I don't have a favorite season, because I find it fun to readapt to the changes in weather as I change my wardrobe attire accordingly.

- If you would have a chance to work with any world designer who would it be? NC: If I had a chance to work with a world known designer, it would be Versace, Christian Dior or Channel.

- What does success means to you? NC: Success is a word described by society with a materialistic meaning. To me, success is the life purpose fulfillment of one's goals. Some fulfill their dreams by doing something significant for humankind. Some do it through medicine, some through law, some through charity and philanthropy, etc... and some of us through fashion and entertainment. It takes many years and perhaps tears to learn their own life purpose. But it takes less time for others.

+
- PJ: What are your three wishes? NC: I have many wishes. But three main ones are to be at a great position to help great groups of people in need outside of fashion and the other two are kept only between god and I.
