PJ: How did you end up in New York City?
AT: I ended up in New York City 13 years ago. I decided to live here when my first visit when I was a 20-year-old college student. I just followed my passion but my first purpose was to learn dance and English and I planned to go back to my country only 1 year. I can't believe that I have been working as a dancer in United States for over 10 years!
AT: I want to maintain high energy lol! That is the most important thing for me.

PJ: As a female performer what are the challenges you are facing as a performer artist and advantages?
AT: My challenge has been to have a legitimate business relationship. Sometimes it is hard to make fair and clean business relationships. I have been through it and learned a lot of things in the last couple of years and I feel that things are getting better and the whole experience
PJ: What does it mean being a woman to you?
AT: Actually I am still finding the answer for this question. I can recognize myself as human being rather than woman.
AT: My future plan is to meet the right partner, plan to be in more film/TV shows/Theater acting and dancing. Also I would like to choreograph for more Music Artists, Film/TV /Broadway Musicals and plays.

PJ: Your favorite time of the year, book, cuisine, composer, dancer, holiday?
AT: My favorite time of the year is summer. I like to attend events in NYC that allow me to be outside in the nice weather. I enjoy meet ing new people and also inspires a lot of great new ideas.
PJ: Your performances are very colorful and you always wear interesting costumes, how do you pick your styles in order to match with the mood of the dance?
AT: First, I listen to the music and study the lyrics. Most of the time ideas come up naturally once I understand the music.
