Book Review:

Do you dream about adventures and perhaps being a pirate?

This book is just about that, one young lady Anne Bonny, the Irish American Pirate. You could say this girl is very bold and could take us on a wild dangerous adventure with her.

+

How incredible to find yourself learning life of survival and courage from so many fascinating stories told by very famous pirates such as Sir Francis Drake, Lanfranco Grimaldi, Ching Shih (also another female pirate). Their stories definitely shook the world with its adventures, life twists and wild stories.

Charleston 18th century is time and place of our heroine, the era itself brought us so many new discoveries and incredible people that influenced our world. As it happens very often a wealthy man has an affair with his servant ....so the story goes....

+

William Cormac is a lawyer having an affair with his servant Mary Brennan, who as a result of their connection gives a birth to their love child our heroine Anne Bonny. Anne Bonny is a free spirit and being part of two worlds does not belong to any of them, so she chooses her own free way to discover life for herself. Her will and boldness inspires us all to leave everything behind, hire a ship and just go somewhere where we do not know where. She does what she wants and has no fear in her actions.

PopImpressKA Journal recommends to investigate this wild adventure with a brave character Anne Bonny, perhaps a pirate never looked so beautiful and never had such a challenging way ahead of her.

And what about you our dear readers? Are you afraid of a challenge? if no go ahead and be an explore or if you have a little doubt then start reading a book by a very incredible author Ralph E. Jarrells and start your own adventure by exploring together with Anne Bonny.

Our favorite quote: ..." Mary Reid and Anne Bonny, you have been found guilty of Piracy, Felonies and Robbery on the High Sea, each of these charges carry the sentence of hanging by the neck until dead...."....

..."On tomorrow, you will be carried to Gallows Point where your sentence will be carried to Gallows Point where your sentence will be carried out....."

+

+

"..... I stood and Mary stood with me. "Lord, we plead our bellies."

"There was a moment of silence and pandemonium broke out. Mary and I were both pregnant, carrying .......babies......

Since unborn babies were considered innocent, it was unlawful to hang a pregnant woman...."

About Ralph Jarrells:

Ralph E. Jarrells grew up in Columbia. Ralph is married to a wonderful woman called Sybil. He retired from a 45+ year career in marketing and advertising, much of it as a senior executive. Ralph started an award-winning video production company after retiring (won 24 international creative trophies). He began mission work doing a video project in Togo, West Africa for Clean Water for the Children 6 years ago.  Did mission work in Togo and Uganda, Africa; Albania; India; Guatemala; Honduras; Mexico; Bahamas; and Belize.

Later Ralph started "James 1:27 llc" a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit with a focus on Orphans and Widows with Sybil. Ralph says that if you had suggested that he would do ministry work nine years ago, he would have said you were crazy. Sybil, Ralph's wife, accepted a challenge recently to outfit little league baseball teams in Belize.  Over 300 pieces of baseball gear have been sent to the Toledo District of Belize (the poorest area of the country).  Belize is the only country in Central America with no organized baseball program.  She and Ralph were in Belize in May 2019 for Sybil to throw out the first ball for the first game. Sybil and Ralph met in the airport in Amsterdam on their way to Uganda to work with orphans.  Six months the pair were married at Royal, one of the orphanages.  The 750 orphans were included in the ceremony and so were 250 people of Mityana the neighboring community. 100% of the profit from the African Orphans Cookbook goes to feed the orphans in Uganda.
