"My name is Alex Alexion. I was born and raised in a tiny town in Massachusetts. After seeing the movie "Big" where Tom Hanks plays that foot piano at Fao Schwarz, I knew I was supposed to be a musician. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family who pushed and supported my goals. My mother is and will always be my biggest fan. My father and I compare original songs, and sing together any chance we get. And my brother likes to play the role as my unofficial agent.
My style can be categorized as Indie Alternative. Many of my influences include; Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Johnny Cash, Ani Difranco, and Tool. Sometimes my songs can be my heroes, I think they are who I strive to be and how I want to feel. They have gotten me out of some dark places, or forced me to sit in those very spots and just simply be. My piano is my girlfriend, we fight and make up constantly.
