Press Release
NEW EXHIBITION BY BRITISH PHOTOGRAPHER IN NEW YORK CITY
New York, NY, November 1, 2016 – Following on from his successful show in September 2016, fast emerging talent, British Photographer Neil Tandy will have a display of more of his photography on show at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City, available for public viewing during the holiday period, December 1st 2016 until December 27th 2016.
The work on display will comprise 2 exhibitions in one – the first will be “NIGHT VISION”, a series of long exposure and night photographs, made in New York City and Washington D.C., the second, “STILL” will be a series of still life images, shot in the studio, reflecting Tandy’s personal take on still life work.
Mr. Tandy has been involved in photography for around 40 years, the last 5 as a professional, operating from his base on Long Island, NY and his passion for the art is clearly evident in this upcoming exhibit, the latest of several shows he has had in the last 8 years.
When asked to describe what drives and inspires him, Neil answered:
“I am totally absorbed in the art of photography, I am completely passionate about it and I love to record as much around me as I can. From a portrait session, capturing emotion, feeling, expression, personality, to a landscape that contains all of the beauty that nature has to offer, an urban landscape that highlights the power and character of a great city, or the peacefulness of a small village; all of it fascinates me, captivates me, drives me to show what I see, what I am thinking, what I am feeling”.
The exhibits, “NIGHT VISION” and “STILL”, will be able to be viewed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal art display area, street level, next to the ticketing concourse, between 8th and 9th Avenues, NYC.
