EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:
1. PJ: What is the inspiration behind your dance
JDN: My inspiration behind the dance is Voguing. The movement, the music, the way we hit each beat, makes a crowd want to get up and move their feet.
2. PJ: What stage would you like to perform at?
JDN: A stage I would like to perform on. I don’t know I’ve danced on so many around the world from China to Italy.
3. PJ: What is your favorite childhood memory?
JDN: My favorite childhood memory was at age 6 when I would watch videos all day long learning the dance steps and praying one day I will be on tour or share the stage with these music artists and then 12 years later I was blessed to do so.
4. PJ: How did you meet Akiko?
JDN: I met Akiko at the dance audition for the Legendary house of Ninja. At the audition we were standing side by on the very end and we were always partnered up to dance with each other and 10 years later we are still working/dancing together.
5. PJ: What are your plans for the future?
JDN: My plans for the future, growing up I never liked expressing my plans because it was always changing being a dancer, actor, model. I did and do know one thing I will always be a dancer don’t know where or how but I know I’ll be doing it somewhere.
6. PJ: Your favorite Book, Movie, dance style?
JDN: My favorite movies: The Devil wears Prada, The Wiz, School Dayz, Bring it on, Coming to America and Dance style would be Voguing/Hip-Hop, Book by Steve Harvey.
7. PJ: What is the most unpredictable thing happen to you while performing?
JDN: While performing in Europe my dance partner stepped into a side pocket of my pants while I was down on my knees and I had to hop up as she was stepping down and it pulled my knee cap out of socket where I fell and slapped it back in place, got back up and finished out the show swollen knee and could barely walk. The show had to go on!
8. PJ: What are your three wishes?
JDN: My 3 wishes: to one day see my name on the Hollywood walk of fame for acting, I want everyone younger than me to be blessed to take the journey to fulfill their dreams and passion and last I would like to have more wishes so that I never run out of them lol!
