About Terry French: An American celebrity chef Terry French, known as the “Rebel Chef’ is a winner of Season 2 of Food Network’s Extreme Chef television show. He is also the founder and Managing Director of Chefs For Life, a charity organization which works to feed the hungry all around the world, educates them about cooking and healthy eating, as well as promotes the appreciation of food and nature Terry also works to support the charity No Kid Hungry. Terry was born in Evansville, Indiana. He grew up hunting, fishing and cooking with his family. Prior to culinary school, Chef French served in the U.S. Navy. French spent nine years as a tournament fisherman, nine years as first mate on a sport-fishing boat, and is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain. When I met Terry I recognized a soul that is always looking for an adventure. Through my conversation with Terry I felt this man will survive in any conditions and will make a gourmet meal from tree leaves if he has to. Being a traveler myself we shared a few stories and I am pleased that PopImpressKA Journal could share a few special things about Terry’s bright personality, generous soul and passion for cuisine.
