Richie Rich is an American fashion designer, television and film personality and cultural icon.
He first rose to prominence in the 1990s, as a part of the group of club personalities.. The group was also recognized as an artistic and fashion-conscious youth
culture and were a definitive force in New York City underground club culture at the time.
“Conceived in the club”, Rich went on to launch the critically-acclaimed fashion label,
Heathertte,. The collection debuted in 2001 with a runway show during New York Fashion
Week, featuring a video by famed photographer, David LaChapelle After being discovered, the
brand became a household name.
Heatherette went on to show as a part of the official New York Fashion Week 16 times over a
period of nine years, featuring well-known models and celebrities such as: Naomi Campbell,
Paris and Nicky Hilton. Anna Nicole Smith, and Kim Kardashian, among many others. Richie
Rich also showed around the world in other fashion weeks, including: Los Angeles, Mexico
City, Miami, Moscow, Osaka, and Tokyo, and has been featured in notable publications such as
Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Time, Newsweek, Glamour, Elle, People, Paper, Rolling Stone,
Billboard, New York Times and others and has dressed celebrities such as Aerosmith
