PopImpressKA Journal: Chinese Chamber of Commerce of New York (CCCNY) annual Benefit Gala!

On behalf of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of New York (CCCNY), we are pleased to invite you to our annual Benefit Gala which will take place on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 5:00 pm, at Jing Fong Restaurant, to promote our youth summer internship program. The event will be covered by media and will be attended by over 1,000 guests, including elected officials, and community and business leaders.

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of New York was founded in 1904 and registered with the State of New York in 1932. Our mission ever since has been to empower and to provide more opportunities to the Chinese community as well as to build a greater future. We strongly believe the old adage, the children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. In response, this year’s theme of “Prosperity and Posterity” focuses on the expansion of the Youth Internship Programs in order to teach the children today the leadership foundations necessary to cultivate their future careers.

We hope you can join us as a Gala Sponsor. With your support, we will not only be able to sustain our youth summer internship program but also will be able to reach our goal of expanding the program size and length. This year we have 25 high school interns and 12 college interns, which is a great increase from last year’s program of 15 high school interns and 9 college interns. Through this program, the interns are given opportunities to advance their leadership capabilities and gain experience working in the real world. By doing so, the Asian American community will thrive in our society.
