Interview Denise Rover
Denise, a 31 year veteran at NBCUniversal, is an Account Manager for WNJU-TV/Telemundo. She began her career at WNBC where she held positions in News, Sales, and Programming.
Denise is a 34 year member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS)/NY Chapter. She is currently the President of the NY Chapter. She was elected to the NY Chapter Board of Governors to represent Sales/Marketing for three terms. She also served terms as Secretary and Treasurer of the NY Chapter. Denise was also Co-Chair of the NY Emmy Awards Committee. She is in her second term as a Trustee to NATAS. She also chairs the Moving Forward: Daytime Emmy Awards Committee.
Denise is a member of U.S. Figure Skating; a national governing body of the U.S. Olympic Committee. She has attended 19 World Figure Skating Championships, and several Winter Olympics. With her combined backgrounds, Denise often shares insights and ideas with U.S Figure Skating officials on broadcasting and advertising matters.
Denise is the managing partner of the Rover Family LLC. Denise also works closely with staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to support the Rover Family Fund for Breast Cancer Research. She established it as a tribute to her late parents.
Finally, Denise also serves on the boards of other nonprofits. She was appointed to the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ. She also serves on the Budget Committee, and the Development Council. Denise was also appointed to the Board of Overseers at Seton Hall University/Immaculate Conception Seminary.
