European Deli Becomes Sole U.S. Importer for Pernigotti
East Hanover, NJ, (August 6, 2018), European Deli announces that it has been named the exclusive importer of the Italian chocolate brand, Pernigotti, for the United States.
The Pernigotti brand, since 1860, offers chocolates from the Piedmonte region of Italy known for its prized hazelnuts. The range includes gianduiotto, cremino, and nocciolato in both milk and dark chocolate varieties. The chocolate comes in bags, tins, and gift boxes. All Pernigotti chocolates are Kosher, gluten free, all natural and contain no palm oils.
Pernigotti has also created a duet of gianduia chocolate hazelnut spreads. The milk chocolate hazelnut spread contains 30% hazelnut while the dark chocolate hazelnut spread contains 42% hazelnut. The spreads will be retailed for $9.95. The bags will be retailed for approximately $5.95.
Thanks to the centenary history, Pernigotti is one of the Italian brands with the highest awareness among consumers, equal to 96%. This is because consumers have an affective bond with the brand where they have a positive perception in terms of integrity, quality and reliability. Pernigotti

European Deli is owned by Terri Nelson, the former owner of Niche Import Co. and imported the Pernigotti range as part of the Niche Gourmet Portfolio prior to selling the company in 2010. European Deli was founded in 2017 and sells a collection of chocolate, pantry, and beverage items from throughout Europe.
