Unlike the Miss USA contest, the organizers of which this year abandoned a parade in swimsuits, at the Miss Russian United States competition everything was traditional - swimsuits, evening dresses, talent contest, a series of questions and answers.
The producer of the competition, Lika Osipova, believes - in the preservation of traditions - strength. “A fashion show in swimsuits should show the dignity of the figure, the grace and tenderness of each of the participants. And it doesn’t humiliate them at all - they are independent, they are individuals, they emigrated to America - and this is an act-says Lika.
Among the participants are economists, lawyers, realtors and even a psychotherapist. The fight was for what - the first three prizes are quite impressive. For 1 place - a car in a three-year leasing, for the second - jewelry, for the third - a trip to the Dominican Republic for two.
Polina Egorova, an 18-year-old lady from Moscow lives in New Jersey, won first (#1) place in the competition. Polina says: her dream is to become a neuroscientist, but she came to the competition for the sake of experience.

Famous Russian-speaking artists entertained the guests, including Max Barsky, winner of the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 award and MUZ-TV in the Breakthrough of the Year nomination (2012). And all the guests could not only spend the evening surrounded by beauty, but also walk along the Red Carpet and talk with eminent jury of the competition.
