Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of the New Russia Cultural Center include immediate and long-term benefits for the local community. The overall goals of the Center are to provide cultural services and to develop, deliver, and continually improve high quality community programs in the Capital Region of New York State.  In accomplishing this, the Center portrays and preserves the culture and arts of Russia, to promote Russian heritage and unite the Russian-speaking community in the Capital Region of New York State.   The Russian-speaking community includes people of different nationalities, such as Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Jewish, Latvian, Tatars and others. A fundraiser “That’s My Brick!” project is to generate greater involvement in the Capital Campaign to purchase the building for the New Russia Cultural Center.

Donors who make gifts of $1,000 and greater will be recognized on the engraved "That's My Brick" paver in the Center's entryway. Our personalized bricks allow donors to literally put their names or name of their business on the project.  Such engraved bricks create a way to show donors visible and measureable fundraising success.

"We have already 3 bricks bought by our donors.  Leave your mark – buy a personalized brick today and become part of the New Russia Cultural Center legacy!"
